Geometry Dash by SolexGD | XXL Demon Showcase SleyGD 2023-07-28 | This is easily the best I've ever seen this concept done, so much so that I felt like I should bring back showcases for this level specifically. Its hard to really pick out what is so good about it since it kinda just nails literally every aspect of a level like this. First off the gameplay is awesome, unlike a lot of other levels that attempt this it effectively captures Robtop's gameplay style, which is no easy feat. Alongside that the deco is extremely well done. All of the parts genuinely feel like they could be from their respective levels, and with the individual sections blending multiple levels from the same updates into one it just works. The climax of the level is also so damn cool, having the different deco styles flash in and out to the song after getting through all of them and then ending with an almost amalgamation of everything prior is such a cool use of progression and I genuinely think it was done perfectly here. Overall this is a super cool, tasteful and effective compilation style level made for the anniversary of GD. If I could choose the rating this got it would easily be an epic, but who knows really. (extreme demon megacollab) SleyGD 2023-02-26 | kinda funny that this is technically the first megacollab ive hosted that has actually finished but here we are. if yall dont know this level was started WAY back in 2017 when i made the layout as one of the earliest things i remember doing on pc in this game. it then progressed into being a collab i wanted to host in early 2018 but it ended up dying (ofc it did the layout was shit). last year me and sert (the original hosts) decided it would be funny to bring it back with a new, tweaked / adjusted layout that keeps the charm of the original while actually being playable, and ofc with a new coat of paint in the form of some honestly awesome deco from a bunch of cool creators. it genuinely feels weird seeing this level release but i couldnt be happier!parts (in order)Sert, Sley, Renn, Fruitsnack, Sley, Fjud, Unbipentium, StarterX(i just realised i forgot starterx in the endscreen, adding the names to it was very last minute and i just forgot for some reason. this will be updated in the level to actually credit them).
sl9o by me! (sl8o sequel, extreme demon) SleyGD 2023-01-11 | Probably the last level anyone would have wanted but fuck it we ball. Jokes aside i know sl8o is kinda infamous for being shit so i decided to make a sequel. This is absolutely a joke level first and foremost so yeah there are quite a few random joke things scattered about but i genuinely put a lot of effort into the deco in this, so i hope yall enjoy! Honestly this is probably my best 1.9 level visually. Gameplay is a whole other matter tho lmfao. Oh also this is to be verified by sink the goat, that being said it will most likely be a very long term verification, we prioritized making the gameplay as funny and wacked out as possible which ended up in it being both extremely difficult and also super fucking stupid.
