These were the words of a little Lao girl who with her mum and sister had lost everything in the 2018 dam disaster in Sanamxai Laos. At the time I did not understand her and walked away from her. Not until later looking over the video footage did I find out what she was asking for.. It broke my heart and her little voice has haunted me since.. So what better place to wait it out than at a traditional Lao Homestay in the highlands of the Bolaven Plateau, Laos.What is a Homestay in Laos | BIG WET E11 The big wet southern tour continues as we make our way up on to the Bolaven plateau in the province of Champasak of Southern Laos.
