I ended up getting more money from insurance than I would have selling it myself. That money is now going to help pay off my school tuition.3 months before I found out I was moving to London my dog, Riley, passed away. She had been battling cancer and I would have spent the next 5+ years fighting the cancer and spending all my money on her treatments for her to get better. But she let me know that she was ready and I had to let her go. I never would have considered moving across the world while she was sick. I felt like she gave me her blessing to go8 months before I found out I was moving to London, my boyfriend and I broke up. I never would have even considered applying for acting school let alone moving across the world while I was in a committed relationship.Even though it felt like the worst season of my life where everything was getting taken away from me, God was preparing my heart for the new season He had for me. I had to be released from some things in order to receive the newness that was coming.So now after all that, when things don’t go my way I trust that Jesus is working everything together in my favor regardless. My brain when I’m trying to do it all 🥲 Studio Jibby 2024-05-27 | Tryna do it all like…🥲 who else?When I start feeling overwhelmed by everything in life, it’s a sign post for me to slow down. Sometimes it feels impossible to slow down like I have to get all these things done or my world will collapse but that’s not the case. If you’re feeling overwhelmed I’m sure you’ve got so much on your plate and for that alone I wanna say I’m proud of you. You’re doing your best. For me I try to take one day at a time and be present. “Be where your feet are”. I can’t be in the past fixing a mistake I made long ago or in the future trying to control everything. All I can do is be present and address what I can in the moment. Sometimes I feel like superwoman and cross off everything on my checklist and other days just doing the bare minimum takes every bit of strength. Both days I’m doing my best. Some days are for maintenance and some days are for growth and that’s OK! Nothing is wasted. So be present. Take care of what you can where you are and let go of what you can’t control! You’re doing great!

In the moment, things may feel like you are at your lowest low, but keep going, keep moving forward one day at a time, and keep your eyes fixed on all the good that has come into your life. Sure mourn for what is lost, but don’t get stuck in the mourning. Remind yourself of the good. Go back and read what you prayed about before. That way you can realize you are living out your prayers right now in this moment. To my weights girlies, I’m sorry I’m a changed woman—a cardio bunny now! But really I’m both now. I did this challenge to increase my cardio fitness and VO2 max and it’s literally changed my whole fitness regime. I feel incredible (like I could run a marathon!). I’m slowly working on improving my running form now to prevent any injury but I have a goal to at least run a half marathon by the end of Q3 this year (oh gosh I’ve said it to the internet so now I have to do it)! I think that could be a reasonable goal??Any runners out there got some running tips for me??

When you are fighting against the voices in your head that say you aren’t good enough or worthy enough. I had this realization recently that I really didn’t think I was “good”. I thought I was bad and just covering it up by pretending to be good. Idk where this came from but I’ve never felt like I truly deserved good things because I didn’t believe I was truly good. My mind was constantly focused on my many shortcomings and flaws:Why did I think that awful thought?Why am I constantly failing?Why cant I be a better parter, daughter, sister, friend?Why aren’t I good enough?The only fix for me was to turn into a people pleaser to prove to myself and others that I WAS truly good but that only created a mask that even further showed me how “fake good” I was. Oof the mental GYMNASTICS of letting go of what I think other people need from me to be good and just rest in the goodness I was created from and created to be. Unlearning that I am bad and learning that I do have innate goodness in me. Yes I am sinful but trusting in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit has been one of the most freeing things. Believing that I AM good and I DO deserve good things, peace, joy, kindness, gentleness…has allowed me to shed an old life of self made limitations and start creating and believing for newness and good in my life, all of the fruits of the spirit. What a freeing place to be. Thank you Jesus that I am truly starting to believe I am fearfully and wonderfully made. You are WONDERFULLY made. I hope you believe that and receive it deep in your soul. You deserve to be here to exist, to experience love and peace and kindness. You are worthy ❤️
