At one point during a co-op session with a friend, I decided to place a Mound-Makers summon sign. They were suspicious at first, but after several minutes of killing enemies in the surrounding areas, and killing the enemies in front of my "friend", I was able to convince them I was an ally, eventually gaining their trust.
This newly established trust didn't last long...

![Dark Souls II: No Deaths, No Bonfire Playthrough [Part 1]
The first part of a No Deaths, No Bonfire playthrough recorded in late 2014 on the PS3 Black Armour Edition of Dark Souls II.
This was one of several practice runs, in which I successfully completed the game without a single death or use of a bonfire, while trying to bring the created character to a point that I could consider to be more of a complete build.
The desired end result was to be able to not only to obtain both Illusory rings from a playthrough and complete (or come close to completing) a specific build type, but eventually do so with only a single weapon. Unfortunately I didnt quite get around to starting a proper No Deaths, No Bonfire, Single Weapon playthrough.
