Let the long-awaited Dark Souls III walkthrough begin! Thanks massively to Charleycake for providing us with the absolutely stellar gameplay for this series. Give her all of your love in the comments, for this walkthrough likely would not exist for a long time without her.

To kick things off, we take a look at the starting tutorial area of the Cemetery of Ash, go over some new mechanics for returning enjoyers of the Souls series, and explain everything from scratch for brand newcomers. We fight the first boss, Iudex Gundyr, and explain how to defeat him easily with this build. In this walkthrough, we will be utilising the sellsword twinblades and using a light equipment weight, fast rolling, high dexterity build.
We then take a detailed tour of the hub area - Firelink Shrine - and collect various useful items hidden around this area. NPCs and shopkeepers are introduced, and we beat the tough naked swordsman outside. I'll teach you how to perform the tricky "tree skip" and grab some great treasures very early that will really help us as we start our adventure.
