Dancing Before the Moon is now on display at the British Pavilion as part of the 18th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, Italy.
Through its installations of new work, and a film and soundscape, this year’s British Pavilion exhibition promotes the idea that everyday rituals and cultural practices of diaspora communities impact space and present new ways of thinking about our built environment.
Six UK artists were selected to highlight the central role that rituals play in reflecting the traditions and community values of people living in the UK. Take a journey through the work of Yussef Agbo-Ola, Jayden Ali, Mac Collins, Shawanda Corbett, Madhav Kidao and Sandra Poulson, by watching our filmed exhibition tour.
