Film made by Marlo Limacher For business enquires, feel free to contact me here: marlospotstudio@gmail.com
This entire film was shot in Oxford over a 14 day period during the summer. I visited several Colleges, but only in two of them have been shot some scene form the Harry Potter movies. There was also a Library where they filmed Harry Potter. Here is a list of all Colleges and Places I visited:
Bodleian Library (Harry Potter Location) Christ Church (Harry Potter Location) New College (Harry Potter Location) All Souls College Balliol College Brasenose College Hertford College Magdalen College Oxford School of English St John's College University College
Merton Field (Playing Field) Radcliffe Camera The University Church Of St. Mary The Virgin The Grove (Deer Park) St Edmund Hall University of Oxford Botanic Garden
I spent almost every single afternoon with filming at these places. In the mornings I went to the Oxford School of English (OSOE). There I found people who supported my project. By the way, this is a excellent school to learn English:) Check out their website in the link below.
On a technical side, this was all shot on the Canon T4i (650D). Most of the shots were done with the Sigma 10mm - 20mm 1:4-5.6 EX. I also used a Canon EF 24mm - 105mm f/4L IS USM.
The smooth shots were done with a Glidecam HD-2000. They do take a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get past that, it should be smooth! You can check out the exact model on their official website here where you can also buy them.
If it was absolutely necessary I corrected camera shakes with the Warp Stabilizer Plugin, which you can only use in the latest version (CS6) of Adobe Premiere Pro.
I'm very grateful to all people who supported my project. I would like to express my thanks to:
Peter Thompson (Head of the Oxford School of English) Harris Ahmed (Teacher at the Oxford School of English) Sebastian Strobl (Background actor) Maureen Thomas Amélie Baechler Andrea Isler Tanja Bumann Margherita Bartolozzi Francesca Maci Sven Al Paul Man ... and of course to any other friend I met. You guys are awesome!
