Triple Transforming Ninja Star! (3-Pointed) - EPIC Frisbee & Boomerang Throws! Robs World 2022-04-16 | In this video, I teach you how to make a 3-Pointed Paper Transforming Ninja Star, a.k.a. the Triple Transforming Ninja Star. This is an all-new origami collaboration design by myself and Jeremy Shafer (JeremyShaferOrigami). We will create three identical pieces which will then interlock together in order to create a star which transforms as you move the pieces together. It has two main configurations: The "Frisbee Mode," which flies amazingly well as a frisbee, and the "Transformed Mode" which can actually curve a bit if thrown in a certain way. It does not really come back all the way but is still cool to see it curve towards you a bit and does so better with lighter paper.I will be teaching using Three 8.5" x 11" Letter Sized white printer sheets, however I have also made it using colored paper. You can also use Origami paper, however, it will not be able to transform as far being that rectangular paper creates more length for the transformation. EPIC Paper Cup Boomerang & Helicopter! (2-in-1 Model Returns and Spins Down) Robs World 2021-06-10 | Explains how to take a paper cup and turn it into an amazing spinning helicopter and returning boomerang--the FIRST of its kind!We will divide the cup into 8 different sections by cutting it, then folding the sections down. Folding 4 will allow you to make the helicopter. Interlocking the other 4 will allow you to make the boomerang. Grab your materials below and try it out!Materials:+Paper Cup - I found nearly any paper cup will work, however, some may fly or spin better than others. Also, the height of paper cups is directly related to the distance it can go. Plastic cups are NOT good for the boomerang and are really a poor material to use for this craft. The Paper Helicopter Spinner! (Flies and Spins Down) Robs World 2021-05-08 | In this video, I will show you how to make a Paper Helicopter Spinner that spins and flies down to the ground like a landing helicopter. I got the idea from those Helicopter Spinners that you twist and they fly.I spoke with Jeremy Shafer about designing one and we both came up with our own models that spin and fly. Ultra-Lite Ninja Star Boomerang! | Returning Paper Star Robs World 2021-04-10 | In this video, I go over an easier and better method to making the Ultra-Lite Ninja Star Boomerang, a variation of my first Epic NSB. It uses less paper, meaning you can make 4 TOTAL Ninja Star Boomerangs with 1 single sheet of printer paper!Making it will require cutting or tearing the 8.5" x 11" Letter Sized Printer Paper or A4 Proportion paper into two "Eighth-Sized" Width Strips which we will then make 2 Pieces or Units that we can interlock together to create the boomerang. It may be helpful to use scissors if you are unable to tear the paper and a ruler if you would like to measure, but it is not required. At the end, I will explain how to throw it properly (it matters) and some troubleshooting tips you can use if your boomerang doesn't fly properly. You can also modify the paper to turn into a bracelet if you'd like. It is made from a small portion of an 8.5" x 11" Letter Size Printer Paper. I do not recommend you try square or origami paper, but if you'd like to you can. From the small 8.5" x 2.5" sheet, I’ll first show you how to make the Ring and then how to make the Mini "Sleeved" or "Single-Sided" Ninja Star. Once we have the Ring and Mini Ninja Star, we can then interlock them together to get the Ninja Star Ring!Making the Bracelet: To make the bracelet, hold the 8.5" x 11" sheet in the Landscape orientation (longer edges horizontally), then split the paper in quarters lengthwise. You'll have a sheet that is now 11" x 2.1". Fold this twice lengthwise. Now, use the same technique for locking the edges and fit it to your wrist so that the ends lock in place. Well here's an easy way to turn those recycled items into something that even when you throw away, it comes back! :-)In this tutorial, I introduce a new Cardboard Boomerang (Tri-Blade) that I designed recently. I go into detail on how you can use old Recyclable materials to cut out a handheld and simple-to-make returning Tri-blade Cardboard Boomerang! For the tutorial, you will need:- Thin Cardboard: From Cereal Boxes, Cracker Boxes, Popcorn Boxes, etc. (You don't want to use packing boxes which are too thick, as they don't work as well!) *NOTE* Many people have commented that THICK paper such as card stock or perhaps cover paper works also (I have yet to try or test this myself).-A Pencil: You can use a pen as well, but a pencil is preferred so you can erase in case you make mistakes.- A Ruler: Preferably one that has both inches and centimeter measurements- Scissors: We will first draw the outline and then cut it out of the cardboardI give diagrams and explain at the end how to throw it, so DON'T skip that part otherwise you will not see the proper way to throw it!Thanks for watching and I hope you all are doing well, staying safe, and staying occupied! It can also hover or "helicopter" downwards after it comes back, making it really easy to catch!When I made this, I also challenged Jeremy Shafer to make his own version of a 3-Pointed Boomerang. You can see his video here: youtu.be/sPD2UzGqcGQUsing a single 8.5" x 11" Letter-Sized Printer Sheet, we will first turn the paper into an Equilateral Triangle. This involves just some simple folding and lining the paper which I explain. I also give some measurements (in case you want to just measure the triangle to be extra accurate).We will then make some folds and create a sort of "Windmill Base" on the triangle, then flipping it over and doing the same. How to Juggle (For Beginners) - 3 Ball Cascade and More! Robs World 2019-04-27 | Steps and Timestamps:How I Started Juggling and Me Juggling 3+4 Balls: 1:23Throwing 1 Ball: 2:25Throwing 2 Balls: 3:252 Ball Throwing Techniques & Juggling 2 Balls: 5:15Juggling 3 Balls: 6:10In this tutorial, I will walk you through the steps and techniques you will need to learn how to Juggle 3 balls in the Cascade. The Cascade is a method of juggling that requires you throw the balls in an Arc across your hands. I learned how to juggle from my brother Rick back in 2003 and ever since, I've been able to do it. I've noticed my reflexes improve and in college, someone even tossed me 2 ketchup packets and I caught them both at the same time because I was used to doing that from juggling. I will first teach you the proper way to throw the balls, explaining through both diagrams and video demonstrations. We will first start with one ball. We will then continue to add balls, learning how to throw two and how the timing works. Finally, we'll learn the proper way to do the cascade.With the techniques I show you in this video and lots of practice, you should be able to juggle 2 Balls in One Hand, 3 Balls in 2 hands, and even 4 balls in 2 hands if you really practice. How to Make a Mini MAGIC BALL (Dragons Egg) | Easiest Method Robs World 2018-01-29 | Like this Video? Check out my Fun Creations Playlist HERE:youtube.com/watch?v=Qi3xwubUr1E&list=PL4233A6440287E5CAIn this tutorial for the Origami Mini Magic Ball (sometimes called the Dragon Egg or Dragon's Egg because of the cool exterior look), I explain the easiest way I know how to make or fold it - (btw if you have UltraHD or ability for 4K watch it in super high quality!). This is an awesome Origami Action Toy that squishes, transforms, and is otherwise just fun to play with and is great for relieving stress! EVEN SO, I classify this model as a High Intermediate/Low Advanced model because of the repetitive amount of folds and attention to details, not because of its difficulty. It is tedious (time consuming) so try it when you have free time set aside.For this model, we're going to use a 1:2 proportion/ratio paper. I will be using an 8.5x11" printer sheet, but you can use pretty much any kind of paper. Tape WILL be necessary for this model. Though there are methods for joining the ends together without it, I found it much simpler to learn this way first.This is one of the most challenging video tutorials I've ever worked on, taking weeks to plan out and edit, reviewing 10s (if not 100s) of times and just making sure the quality was top notch. I will be using 3 different color printer sheets (8.5" x 11") which I will show you how to split into 4 sheets, but you can also use origami paper. How to Make a Super 8-Point Ninja Star (Compass Star) - Easy Robs World 2017-10-04 | Like this Video? These are two awesome models you can make out of a regular Letter Sized Printer sheet (8.5" x 11"). The Bomb Glider is called that since it requires making a "Water Bomb" base into the paper and then modifying it so it flies. Even so, the Bomb Glider is cool because it can do flips and spins or turns if you modify the wings properly. The Eagle is a model that is a slight variation of the Nakamura Lock plane and thus requires some extra folds. This is a very easy origami model and can be a lot of fun.. and make a lot of noise :-) You'll just need a piece of printer paper (Letter Sized 8.5" x 11" or A4 size) so grab one and let's make it! Extra Help: If your popper is not going off, please see both 5:30 for how to set up the edge so that it pops loudly and properly--and 7:30 will show you why it may not work if you set it too high. Make sure that you are NOT holding the Sliding Edge (Edge that needs to pop out) between the two corners! Otherwise it will NOT go off! Also: Be sure you are using regular printer paper as I find this works the best!
