Totally your preference.2) Don't forget, one of the anchor brackets is reverse threaded; seen lots of those screws stripped from folks going wayyy too hard in the wrong direction.3) When reinstalling, you can also tighten the brackets just a bit snug to hold them sideways; makes things more manageable if you aren't used to a lot of wiggly parts all at once.
