At that time, the premise was to provide construction workers with inexpensive refreshment during a long working day. The traditional lemonade is made from so-called iron girders. Whether this is actually true or simply an allusion to the historical past is not 100% known.In 2019, the Scottish government introduced a sugar tax. From then on, all drinks above a certain sugar content had to be taxed, which naturally had an impact on production costs.
