[Slimekeep Devlog #40] In this video I talk about the turbulent process of adding a "rich text" option in Slimekeep. This option simply updates the current pixelated font, into a more high resolution and easier-to-read font. In this video fellow gamedev MistTree challenged me to a game development challenge where both of us would have 24 hours to create a game from scratch following a theme. After the time was up our games would be judged, and the winner would win one whole cent. Crazy I know.

In this video I wrapped up a lot of small things in slimekeep, such as adding new enemies, and just generally typing up the game loop. I also spent a bit of time reworking the slime capturing system (again) to be more lively and engaging. I think it's a good start, but please let me know what you think in the comments.

In this video I worked on a bunch of small, yet crucial things in Slimekeep. I finished up the final boss fight area, worked on level progression, and made fast travel teleporters for the game. I know these changes were kind of all over the place, but let me know what you think.

In this video I worked on the final boss for Slimekeep, which is the slime king boss. The boss fight is still not entirely done, but I've pretty much managed to get all the main attacks out of the way. I'm really happy with how he turned out, so let me know what you think.

In this video I created a game to raise awareness for the #TeamSeas campaign. Millions of pounds of trash are dumped into oceans and rivers every single year. This is a major problem, but thankfully Mr. Beast and Mark Rober created Team Seas to hopefully help combat this issue, by raising 30 million dollars by the end of 2021, to remove 30 million pounds of trash from oceans, rivers, and beaches.
The game didn't turn out too great to be honest, but I'm still happy with it, and I hope this video could have potentially helped to spread the message of the campaign. If you like these kinds of video, let me know.

In this video I took my game. A Simple Survey, and transformed it into a very difficult game. This was quite a process to take an easy game, and turn it into a hard one, but I'm very happy with the end product.
The game has around 10 unique endings, and many little side paths to give the game some spice. I've also programmed in quite a few secrets, so please feel free to use this game as your sandbox. Let me know if you like these kinds of videos/challenges.

In this video I entered the Game Makers Toolkit Game Jam 2021, a game jam hosted by Mark Brown from the GMTK YouTube channel. In this jam, Zalop, Gizmote, and I made a game where a collector has to collect enemies to progress. Other enemies can also collect these enemies to upgrade, which makes for some strategical gameplay. But yeah, its basically just Slimekeep in so many ways.
