Ongaku Studios 4th Round Auditions! [CLOSED - JUDGING] OngakuStudios 2012-09-13 | As I said earlier today, Ongaku Studios was going to open their auditions and so here it is! WOOO! For people who have never heard of us before, we are an anime MEP group that edits solely with asian-language music only. We mostly edit with J-pop (Japanese pop) and K-pop (Korean pop) music but have sometimes branched out to M-pop (Mandarin pop) before. The catch is that we actually FOLLOW THE LYRICS as best as possible rather than focus on sparkly candy editing with K-pop. XD We are a MEP group which means that we're not a main studio... You can be in as many other studios as you want while still being in this one. We are looking for between 5-7 members! Though we're still going with quality over quantity. This number range can fluctuate. So...here are some basic rules if you are interested in joining:1. Your anime clips *MUST* be in high quality. Your clips must NOT contain subtitles of any kind. Just so you know, we edit with anime, manga, doujinshi. We don't edit with other forms of media. XD2. ANY editing program is welcome but you must know how to use it well.3. You should preferably be apt to editing with asian music. You don't need to be overly experienced but you have to be very willing to work with music you're not familiar with. English translations WILL be provided for each song we work with. DO NOT join if all you're interested in is editing with JUST Kpop or JUST Jpop. I want people who are actually passionate for editing with the music.4. You MUST be able to reply to PMs regularly when I send out information. If you're not good at replying to them, we might have some problems.5. You MUST be active in order to audition for this studio. Do not audition if you think you might go on hiatus soon.6. You MUST treat your leader and your other members with respect. I don't want to bring drama into the studio.7. You MUST take criticism well. I will be beta-ing/critiquing all parts I get in this studio. If you can't stand someone telling you to change clips and effects for your parts, then don't audition. Again, there were some issues with member parts and such. X'D The title "Kibou wo Motsu" means "to have hope." Hope is the theme of this mep. 「OS」 Let Me Set Up My World 「Purple Line MEP」 OngakuStudios 2010-12-21 | WARNING: CONTAINS LOTS OF HOTNESS and YAOI! Don't watch if you don't like it! Ongaku Studios Presents: Our first MEP! Finally! And it's pretty damn epic if I do say so myself... I'm extremely proud of this mep and the members of OS who helped make this. ^o^ I'm so happy that we finally managed to get this up after making everyone subbed to us wait for so long. I'm really sorry to everyone who waited and the members who finished their parts early... And WOW! We got nearly 150 subs before the first MEP was even up! Thanks so much, everyone! Basically, a few members dropped out of our group and a few parts opened up. It took me a while to find someone to help me out with covering those parts. On top of that, college and school got in the way. Though, I will assure you that the next MEP will NOT be this late! So since this was our first mep there was no set theme. Basically, I just suggested to match the meaning of the song to their own interpretation. So with that said, there's yaoi couples, lots of parts showcasing some badass anime girls and guys, smexi anime characters, and hetero couples. It's just a giant mass of epic anime parts in general. For the most part... each part has either a character or couple being featured. Regarding the last part.... before anyone says anything....WE ARE AWARE that those characters are Japanese and not Korean. However, since we are also a Jpop group, I didn't see a problem with it.
