Intellytech Mega LiteCloth 3.0 Review (MEGA Flattering Light for EVERYTHING) New Layer 2023-08-15 | In this video I review the Intellytech Mega LiteCloth 3.0, my new go-to light source for... basically everything.I used the LC-160 LiteCloth 2.0 in my home studio for years, which was a 2' x 2' foldable LED light mat, and loved every second of it. The Mega LiteCloth 3.0 is not only bigger, but better in pretty much every way.I have the 3' x 4', full color Mega-6FC, and it's a no-brainer getting this thing to look great because it produces super soft light by default.These lights are great for talking head shots and interviews, to simulate window light for top down product and food shots, and with the optional pancake lantern, they are one of the easiest overhead lighting setups in existence.The brightness and color quality is very good, the setup is quick and toolless, and everything fits nicely into a zippered, padded carrying case for travel. Digitalfoto V360 Spinning Camera Rig: WAY Better than a Motorized Turntable New Layer 2023-07-20 | In this video I review the Digitalfoto V360, a 360 degree spinning camera rig that I think is way better than a typical motorized turntable.With a traditional motorized turntable, the object spins while the camera, lighting, and background are all stationary. Using something like the Digitalfoto V360, the platform stays still while the camera itself is what moves.They may seem identical at first, but a rotating camera rig captures totally different footage compared to a motorized turntable.You can attach the included background board and capture isolated shots, just like a motorized turntable, or remove it to get some really cool parallax and background blur.You also have the option to mount lights directly to the V360 so they move along with the camera, as well as setting up lights externally, giving you a unique look that you can't get with a motorized turntable.Since the platform itself doesn't move, you can also interact with objects as you capture footage, adding another layer of interest to your shots.If you shoot any kind of product or food video, I think the Digitalfoto V360 is a must-have, but what do you think? These New Zhiyun Lights are AWESOME! (FiveRay F100 & M40 Review) New Layer 2022-12-05 | ================= IMPORTANT =================It would appear there was a big miscommunication between Zhiyun and I as to whether the FR100C was going to be renamed to, or replaced by, the F100. The F100 is a successor the the FR100C, and the F100 is what is shown in this video. The significant difference between the two is that the F100 is twice as bright in HSI mode, and includes the case and accessories I show here.I'm sorry for any confusion! Please forgive me :'(In this video I review the brand new Zhiyun FiveRay F100 RGB tube/wand/stick light, as well as the M40 bi-color pocket light.These are the first lights from Zhiyun, and apart from being insanely bright, they have a lot of other good things going for them.The F100 includes a grid, barn doors, and my favorite, the softbox diffusion. This makes it one of the very few legitimate options as a key light in the tube light category.
