Block light is stored seperatly from the sunlight, so that during the course of a day/night cycle the sunlight disappears and appears, but the block light remains.

Milestone 5: - Splitting and merging of mechanical networks (you can see that in the video when I break and place back axles) - Added new power consumer: Grindstone (player cannot interact with it yet) - Tested and working in multiplayer - Added client side linear interpolation for angle rotations to smoothen out server lag. It improves but does not completely fix the sometimes jerky movements of rotating compoments. Particularly noticeable with the windmill - Fixed last remaining known and difficult to fix bugsSmenzos Minecart Network Project - Episode 5: High Speed Junctions PREVIEWTyronX2015-08-24 | Smenzo decided to continue my minecaft network project and developed a vastly improved junction.
Milestone 4: - First power producer + production chain: Bellows + Blast furnace Metal molds + Coke oven + Coke = Steel - Everything implemented for release. It is now ready for multiplayer testing.
This milestone allows the player to enter the steel age.
The reason why it dropped 3 steel and 3 iron ingots: If not enough heat is supplied (= lack of air blow), part of the iron will not turn into high quality steel. In a next update there will be a flywheel you can add to the mechanical system to improve steel yield.
