Do your waves & curls look good before bed but worse the next morning? My clients learn how to diagnose their hair problems, such as frizz or waves falling limp, by looking at WHEN the hair is breaking down.

When curls fall apart overnight, it’s usually not random. The timing tells us what to adjust first.
If your hair looks strong on wash day but breaks down after sleep, that points to a sleep protection mismatch. But if the hold isn’t solid to begin with, we fix wash day first before changing your overnight routine.
In this coaching session, we looked at options based on hair type and what actually stays in place overnight:
• clips can protect shape without stretching
• buffs can work when bonnets slide off
• satin pillowcases help but are rarely enough alone
• some refreshing underneath is still normal
Sleep protection isn’t one size fits all. The best method depends on how your hair holds shape overnight.
