misterbigmouthThis is early game footage from the unfinished Flash video game made by Bottlerocket Entertainment in 2008. When our publisher Brash folded we were about 6 months into full production with about a year still to go on the game so please excuse the roughness of how it looks at this stage. A lot of the core elements were just starting to surface and we were all really saddened that the game couldn't be saved. This video shows off a good chunk of the early production work on Central City. It also gives a good example of the various tricks Flash could pull off as well as really showcase the running speed we were shooting for. Enjoy!

When our publisher Brash folded we were about 6 months into full production with about a year still to go on the game so please excuse the roughness of how it looks at this stage. This video shows a combat arena that we built where we could test out various special moves.
Combat was built around the Mark of Kri combat system where you could assign a controller button to an opponent and then anytime you pressed that button you would instantly dash to that opponent and strike him. There was a whole combo system integrated and you could use combos on a single opponent or spread the blows out across multiple opponents. If you watch closely you'll see a variety of Flash's classic moves that we were trying to incorporate. We still had a long way to go on the game but this should give you a pretty good taste of the direction we were going in. When our publisher Brash folded we were about 6 months into full production with about a year still to go on the game so please excuse the roughness of how it looks at this stage. This short video shows a brief sample of what our running combat was starting to develop as. We were shooting for a "Road Rage" kind of feel to it where you could bump and slam into your opponent until you made him wipe out. This sample is only about a weeks worth of work so we still had a long way to go on it. When our publisher Brash folded we were about 6 months into full production with about a year still to go on the game so please excuse the roughness of how it looks at this stage. This video showcases an art sample that we put together for Keystone City. Whereas Central City was all steel and glass we wanted to show Keystone as being the city with a foot still in the past with it's buildings of brick and mortar and a more laid back way of life. Genre: Action-Comedy
This is the second "short" film that my friends and I have created.
We decided to push ourselves to create a longer narrative this time around with some basic special effects tossed it. The more we do, the more we learn, and the better we become. That's the plan at least.
There is some profanity and a smidgen of violence so be warned before watching. We don't feel it's enough to warrant marking this as Age Restricted based off You Tube's criteria for that, but young kids should not be watching this.
