Crossrail is installing 81 new escalators into the Elizabeth line, which will be used by over 200 million people when the railway opens in December 2018.

Over half have now been installed, stretching to over 1 mile long.

The new timelapse footage shows escalators being installed at Paddington, Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon and Liverpool Street.
