This 25,000 square foot abandoned mega mansion was hidden deep within 160 acres of land… and what we found inside tells a story that’s hard to believe.
Originally built in 1997 as a small farmhouse, the home was expanded over and over again by a wealthy businessman from Orlando, Florida — eventually turning into the massive estate you see today. He built his success alongside his high school sweetheart, running a construction business and using the property to breed race horses.
But in 1999… everything changed.
After a nearby asylum shut down, the owner began taking in patients to live and work on the property. What was supposed to be an opportunity to help… quickly turned into something much darker.
Reports later revealed that patients were forced to do hard labor for as little as $5 a day… while parts of the mansion and surrounding buildings were left to decay.
When a journalist exposed the truth, everything started to fall apart.
Funding disappeared.
Investigations began.
And even his own family walked away.
By 2010, he was living alone inside this massive mansion… confined to a single room in the basement… while the rest of the house slowly rotted around him.
In 2021, he passed away inside the home… and wasn’t found for over a week.
Now, the property has been sold… and will soon be demolished — meaning everything inside could be lost forever.
