🍄 Ingredients:
½ lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
⅛ tsp black pepper
2 cups milk
2 cups cooked ham, cubed
1 package (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
1 package thin spaghetti, cooked
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
🔥 Cooking Directions:
Sauté veggies – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onion. Cook until tender and the mushrooms release their liquid, about 5–7 minutes.
Season and thicken – Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir until well combined. Cook for 1–2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
Add milk – Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until thickened, about 3–5 minutes.
Add ham and peas – Stir in the cubed ham and thawed peas. Cook for another 3–4 minutes, just until heated through.
Toss with pasta – Add the cooked thin spaghetti and toss gently until everything is well coated and heated through.
Serve it up – Plate it hot and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Serve with garlic bread or a crisp salad if you're feelin’ fancy!
