So recently a prototype of Crash 3 was made available on the internet. Is dated May 1998, made for the E3 presentation. Its the oldest build of the game to be released, and contains several differences from the final build. At the start up we see a beta logo from the game and hear a music that doesn't play out in the final version, which is actually a early theme for the underwater levels used as placeholder. Then we appear at the Warp Room that originally was meant to be at the ruins of Cortex's Castle, with a totally different visual for the Time Twister Machine. Same for the portals to the levels, which where green instead of blue. Only the first chamber is playable, being composed of Gee Wiz, Under Pressure, Bone Yard, Midnight Run, and Tomb Time. We be taking a look at each level, starting with Gee Wiz. The futuristic bonus round and the background music are the most noticeable differences. Also the Cortex's lab assistants needs two hits to be killed instead of one.
