This short little video describes how I embellish and strengthen the journal by weaving a ribbon spine onto the journal. This is just something I made up myself a long time ago because I hated the way the strings looked and I didn't want to jerryrig the spine by covering it with extra lace or something bulky. I have found this also strengthens holding the signature tight into the journal.

Unfortunately, I was not able to film making the topper since I find that making toppers are a tad bit serendipitous and I really do wander around my studio trying to find the ingredients. If you have an interest - I will try to organize myself such that I can come up with all the ingredients and then assemble one for you.
