I went on an early winter Coyote Hunt, I have seen coyotes in the area before so I wanted to try. We scouted the spot a few days prior and there were tracks in the snow so we were feeling good about it. While on the hunt I saw rabbit tracks as well which is great, that should mean they would respond to a wounded rabbit call.
I brought my 224 Valkyrie with me as my weapon of choice loaded with a 53g Vmax traveling 3150 FPS. I had a 200 yard zero set and was ready for one to come rolling in. My buddies joined as well, one has a 6.5 Creedmoor and the other was ready with a Remington shotgun if necessary.
