So I looked up Longchamp after recording this because I always considered it to be a luxury brand. I think the lines in my mind got fuzzy because I see it frequently in real life, and Longchamp totes are more accessible now.
According to Wiki, "Longchamp is a French luxury leather goods company, founded in Paris in 1948." If we're going to be particular, "In economics, a luxury good is a good for which demand increases more than what is proportional as income rises, so that expenditures on the good become a greater proportion of overall spending. Luxury goods are in contrast to necessity goods, where demand increases proportionally less than income." Oh man, I kinda miss my college econ courses. Fun times.
I want to add that I would absolutely consider other styles from The Cambridge Satchel Company. They have a few cute bags I like, along with nice laptop bags. I clearly picked the wrong one for me, but I do like the company's overall quality and look.
