Finally! Comet Neowise makes an appearance in the Ohio sky, 18° above the horizon at 318° NW. It was just persistence and luck that the comet was even captured in photos as my skies are so light polluted it’s impossible to see anything by eye.
Skip to 4:34 to see the photos if time is an issue.
It should be getting higher and higher in the sky each night after the sun has set over in the NW and below the Big Dipper, so hopefully you'll have a chance to see it also before it dims. :)
A lot of gear is being sold off (but not the Nikon P1000), in hopes of possibly getting the new Canon R5 or R6 camera. :)
