COA Class of 2025 Celebrates at 52nd Commencement Ceremony
On Saturday, June 7, the College of the Atlantic Class of 2025 celebrated their graduation surrounded by approximately 800 friends, family, trustees, faculty, staff, and fellow students during COA’s 52nd Commencement Ceremony. Held under a large tent on the college’s North Lawn, the event opened with a procession led by the Anah Highlander Bagpipers and a warm welcome from 2025 Grand Marshal Bonnie Tai, retiring this year after more than two decades of teaching education at COA.
The ceremony featured inspiring remarks from keynote speaker Omar Alshogre, COA President Sylvia Torti, and several graduating seniors, as well as a welcome from COA Board of Trustees Chair Beth Gardiner. The day honored the accomplishments of the graduating class and celebrated the spirit of community and global engagement that defines the COA experience.
