Welcome to the Design Creativity & Technology Channel. Today I'm doing some prototype CNC Machining on a custom fixture plate today in my little home shop. This is raw unedited footage as I thought I would share it with my subscribers.
The part is made from aluminium extruded angle and it is a heatsink for a 3 phase 415vac electrical device.
Note this is the very first cycle of this part. In retrospect, this part is best suited for to a vacuum plate / table. Additionally to speed up the cycle time on this part I need to remove the peck drilling cycle and just simply plunge in with the drilling cycle.
