The Amazing Toothpaste Dispenser Sirgabealot G 2017-03-03 | After three months of hard work, I proudly present to you the 27th machine in my chain reaction series and my best machine yet (and my first machine in a very long time with an actual goal). As The Eagle Project machine consisted of an estimated 100 steps, this machine contains a solid, legitimate counted out 203 steps!. This took two months to build and one month to test (with 108 failed attempts by my count). I tried some smaller machine tricks that I had been anxious to try for a while (I'm saving the big ones for Spicing it Up #2) and a clean, organized style with a steady-ish flow and I am very proud of the result! I also decided to show second angles to the tricks instead of screen linking the entire machine. In the final product, I did have to silence certain segments of the machine to hide unfavorable background noise, and unfortunately, the camera did go out of focus twice in two different spots, but I am still very proud of the final product. I ran out of many machine supplies and went through over five rolls of tape making this machine! I would like to dedicate this machine to the machine community, as this machine was truly inspired by my chain reaction peers! I was finally able to get my hands on a new camera (Canon EOS Powershot) and I hope that you enjoy the new quality, especially with the new lighting I got for Christmas. The Prometheus Machine Sirgabealot G 2023-02-24 | This is a mini-machine I made for an annual competition at college (the same one I built The Ring Sacrificing Machine and The Greatest Floor Machine for). Because the theme of the event was mythology, the goal of the machine was for Prometheus to steal fire back from Zeus and return it to the humans (hence "The Prometheus Machine"). The Swirl Lamp Machine Sirgabealot G 2021-09-02 | I am proud to present the largest chain reaction machine I have built since the Mouthwash Machine! I'd been eager to try my hand at another full machine for a while now and am very happy with how it turned out!This machine was surprisingly easy to create! After enduring a nightmarish building process with my Domino World machine for this year, I decided to ease on professionalism and was pleasantly surprised when almost every trick in the machine was relatively easy to make and didn't really take more than a day each to create. I was able to exceed almost all of the goals I set for myself every day during the building process and filming wasn't too horrible either. This was definitely the most fun I've had making a project in a while.I decided to go with an island-themed aesthetic when I edited this machine since it was built in an area isolated from the rest of the room (and because it gave me an excuse to use one of my personal favorite EDM tracks). The Egg Smashing Machine Sirgabealot G 2020-02-29 | After months of work, I proudly present my newest chain reaction: The Egg Smashing Machine! Although it's not my largest machine, it is definitely one of my most elaborate, as well as one of my favorite full-length machines that I've built to date.This machine was built as part of my first "business inquiry" as a chain reaction artist. A local film company was making a documentary where they wanted to incorporate some form of dominoes into the machine, and when they discovered my work, they asked me to build a machine for them. It was fun constructing a machine for this project, especially because if I ever needed any materials, I could just tell the director and he would have them mailed over. The documentary is called "What Lies Inside" and has now been released. Be sure to check it out!Given that this was a professional film company, they gave me a table of their own to build on that lit up from the bottom. After I finished building the machine, they came over with professional camera equipment and set up curtains and intricate lighting to film what they needed for their documentary, and I got to film the footage for the "machine as a screenlink" using their high-quality setup (which is why the screenlink looks different from the working test of the machine). Since I knew that I'd be doing some filming with professional lighting, I made sure to use a lot of objects that look good on camera, such as gears, the kinetic motion toy, billiard balls, and some other things. Overall, I'd say this is probably my best looking machine yet. (I also got some great pictures of this machine)As far as how the process of producing this video went, this machine was interesting, as half the tricks were surprisingly easy to build, whereas the other half gave me a stream of problems to resolve for them to work. The hammer sequence was especially difficult for me to build due to the immense weight of the head of the hammer and the instability of the table. I spent probably five or six full nights working on this trick and going through several different designs until I came to a mechanism that looked good while also not destroying itself every time it triggered. Testing was about what I expected, as it failed 74 times before working to my satisfaction. In case you're curious, cleaning broken eggs in a machine is about as fun as it sounds.Overall, I am very proud of how this machine turned out. After spending a couple months working on a machine that had virtually no tricks, I was eager to revive my original style for this machine. I like every trick that I built in this machine, which is actually rare for me as I am generally very self-critical of my work. I put my perfectionism into full gear for this video, and I'd say it paid off. Thanks for watching! The Rubix Cube Solving Machine Sirgabealot G 2019-10-13 | After dedicating a year of long work to one project that focused mainly on tricks, I wanted to try my hand at creating a video that focused more on the "chain reaction" aspect of chain reaction machines. Feeling inspired by jackofallspades98's The Key Finder and Reactica 2019, I decided to try a new style and make this a simpler project with more foreign objects and fewer tricks.This machine was originally going to be an attempt at the Guinness World Record for the largest chain reaction machine, but at around the time I was completing this table, I decided it would be best to stop because I did not have the time, space, or materials to execute a 500-step machine. Additionally, I did not necessarily enjoy creating this project due to the strict supply restrictions that inhibited the overall quality of the machine. I also determined that I would rather spend my last year before going off to college working on smaller, fun projects that I enjoyed building than a large one that I did not. I am not entirely rejecting the idea of me going for the world record one day (although it is unlikely), but I did not like where this attempt was going and decided that if I do end up building a 500-step machine, it will be a Sirgabealot machine with unique tricks rather than a more generic chain reaction that strives for only step count and nothing else.Nonetheless, I do not perceive this project as a failure and am happy with how it turned out overall. I think this project still presents a lot of unique aspects to machines that I wouldn't have tried anywhere else and succeeds at being more of a traditional chain reaction. Domino World 2018 Close Up: Machine Section 2 Sirgabealot G 2018-08-11 | This is my machine I built for Domino World, a domino/chain reaction event led by bpdoles:youtube.com/user/bpdolesIt was really awesome that I was able to participate in my first live event this summer. I had a blast hanging out with everyone and building this machine all day and I'm really impressed with what we were able to create in such a short time span. The Incredible Mouthwash Machine Sirgabealot G 2018-02-02 | I am proud to finally present this massive project to the world. I really pushed myself beyond my limits in order to produce this chaotic machine. With a counted total of 265 steps and eight tables, this machine may be the largest machine designed by a single builder in the community.This machine took five months to design, build, test and clean. When I say five months, I don't mean I was caught up with other things and only worked on this for a few hours a month. When I say five months, I mean I put as much work into the machine as possible while dealing with difficult classes, a time consuming marching band and other activities. Overall, I'd say I spent at least 100 hours on this project total, just to produce for seven minutes of footage.This is easily the largest machine that I have ever built, and also the last machine that I will build of this size for a while. As you may have noticed, 2017 was a quiet year for my channel. That is not because I have lost interest in building, but because I spent 1/3 a year making the Toothpaste Machine, a 1/3 a year making Spicing it Up #2, and the final third making this with a few small projects here and there. While these larger projects are more impressive, they take a very long time to build and create, and it keeps me from uploading as much as I would like to. Another problem is that with a machine built of this size is the limitation on materials. When I built this machine, I used up almost all of my materials and had to be very conservative with what I built in order to fill all of the tables. I actually purchased $60 of Knex on eBay for this project, and still ran out of Knex to the point where I actually had to ask my friends if I could borrow any spare Knex that they had lying around. Another material that I used a lot of was tape. Last year when I built the Toothpaste Machine, I remember being like "Woah! I used five whole rolls of tape to make this!" In this machine, I used twelve. And I used an entire package of tape just fixing things to prevent fails. That's a LOT of tape, seeing how the average project only takes one or two.On top of this, the massive machine failed 460 times and took two months to get it to work once. That said, I will be reverting to screenlinks and 1-2 table machines for a while, which will allow me to provide more impressive tricks in the future. This is actually good news, because now that I will be building smaller projects, I can promise you that there will be much more uploads in the future that will be just as, if not more, impressive than this one.Like the music? The Page Flipping Machine Sirgabealot G 2017-07-18 | I had some free time and didn't really have any projects on my list, so my friends came over to spend the night and we started building this at three in the morning, (we also did a livestream of part of the building process of the machine that surprisingly got over 1,700 viewers). I decided to experiment with Lyle's style of building and some foreign objects and some other small tricks that I had been wanting to try for a while. This machine was fun to build and a pain to test, as it failed about 90 times total, the most failed trick being the swinging kinetic sculpture trick at the beginning. The machine actually did work once all the way on a different test where something fell early. The take that I used was where everything worked perfectly up until where the final domino was supposed to fall and flip the page, but got caught on something when it fell. I did try to get a perfect take afterwards, but the machine gradually fell apart and certain parts of the machine stopped working, so I had to use the run that failed right at the end. I hope that the cut did not affect the viewing pleasure and that this will not be classified as a "screenlinked machine". Thanks for watching! I hope that you enjoyed the machine. Spicing it Up #2 (w/cwdreactions) Sirgabealot G 2017-07-01 | After over a year, we finally present Spicing it Up Part 2! We had a lot of fun "spicing up" 25 chain reaction tricks that the community has presented to us and presenting them back to the community with our own crazy twists. Although we are improving upon previously existing tricks, there are still many new ideas of our own in this video. This is hands down the best video that either cwdreactions or myself have ever done (and one of the longest XD).Thank you for your patience, as this video was supposed to come out during Fall of 2016. The reason it took so long to finish was because we were both busy with school and other machine projects, along with my surgery that prevented me from building for about a month. We spent a lot of time selecting the tricks that we would spice up, looking through many chain reaction videos. In the end, we ended up with a set of tricks from a total of 10 different builders and 22 different videos, as noted in the trailer. To view each original version of each trick and to see who built them, click on the link to the video trailer here. youtu.be/TUw_01LI9lk The entire process of my part took about 60-70 hours to do, including building, testing, research, filming, editing, documenting, downloading, uploading etc. I put an average of about four hours in each clip, whereas some clips took much longer than that to do (cough cough rolling shoebox stack cough cough). There were about 160 fails in total, with the last two tricks (the swinging C and the shoebox stack) failing the most. My only trick that worked on the first try (excluding the intro and outro) was the cup flip, which was surprising because that trick was actually very risky. Both of us edited our own sections and cwdreactions edited the final version and added the music, which is why the audio quality actually sounds good in this video. Shoutouts goes out to the builders whose tricks were spiced up, my new camera and the lighting for improving the video quality on my segments of the video (and to the lights for falling on top of the machines twice, lol) and especially to cwdreactions for putting together a ridiculously amazing chain reaction section for the video and for doing a very very good job with the editing. Domino Chain 6 Sirgabealot G 2017-06-28 | Here is my submission to Domino Chain! I put a lot of work into it and I think that it is my favorite machine table that I have ever built. Something that I want to point out is that this is surprisingly my second most failed project of all time, behind the 200 step Toothpaste Dispenser. The cup bounce right at the end was actually pretty inconsistent, but it looked cool at the end. My favorite trick would have to be the sliding cup trick. It's an idea that I've had for a while and I'm proud of how it turned out. TheGoldbergGuy Retro Machine Sirgabealot G 2016-11-23 | After a six month hiatus, retro machines have finally returned. This was built for TheGoldbergGuy, a builder that have actually met in person (outside of ISMWE). This machine is a remake of his table at the Eagle Project Machine. For the first time , I have actually decided to recreate the machine for a retro machine as much as I possibly could without throwing in several unnecessary changes that were never part of the retro machine. There are still some changes due to lack of specific materials, transitions, trying to reduce fails or trying to keep the machine This took me five hours to build, one hour to clean and five hours to test. The EDM Machine (No. 26) Sirgabealot G 2016-10-07 | I proudly present to you my 26th machine in my Chain Reaction Machine series! At approximately 100 steps, this machine is easily my most complex, my longest and hopefully my best. This was originally intended to be my machine for my CCC 2 entry with Chipio Industries and DLDomino, but was unable to build for about two months and therefore could not finish in time. The theme of this machine is EDM songs. The machine is split into four different sections themed on EDM songs (the marble track was not part of any section): The Lights section, represented by the solar powered spinning track and the light bulb trick, the Alan Walker-Force section, represented by the oscillating fan trick, the Rain of Glass section, represented by the bead chain, marble run and binder trick, and the Heavyweight section, represented by many weight tricks. The unique aspect of this machine is that the background music changes as the machine progress through each section.In this video, the full take of this machine unfortunately has a cut. However, the machine did work in one take but there was an impurity in the Force section, so a cut was used to replace it for continuity reasons. The Eagle Project Machine (w/3timpani and the Goldberg Guy) Sirgabealot G 2016-07-05 | The Eagle Project Machine is finally here! However, this is no ordinary machine. This is actually my Eagle Project for Scouts and the biggest video I have uploaded yet. After a few months of planning, designing and organizing everything for the big event, I went to a children's hospital and built a massive machine there. However, I did not do it alone. TheGoldbergGuy and 3timpani came with me to build it. They were a HUGE help and I need to give them a huge thank you for coming. I designed the sections on the first three tables and the Herringbone chain and TheGoldbergGuy designed the machine on the brown table. Thank you so much to all of the people who helped make this event possible. Thank you also to everyone who donated towards the Toy Pantry in the children's hospital. We raised a total of $1,055 to purchase chain reaction related kits to donate to the hospital. This machine was broadcasted live across the hospital's closed circuit TV station, which consists of over 2,000 TVs, as we built and tested it. Aidans Machines Retro Machine Sirgabealot G 2016-04-30 | My first jackofalspades98 style machine is here! This machine is remade off of Aidan's Machines 11th machine. In this machine, I challenged myself to produce lots of multi use elements on just one table. I am quite proud of the result, especially with the direction changer trick and the water vortex trick. I will not be uploading any machines for a while because I will be working on my first live machine for my Eagle project! Hope to make this the biggest machine yet, which thirty tricks and 100 steps. EVoltageRGMs Retro Machine Sirgabealot G 2016-04-09 | I am proud to present another retro machine, themed on EVoltage's "Star Wars" machine. Although this machine is not as complex as the last few, this seems like the most organized video I have ever posted to me. I have determined that people don't care much about intros, so I am going to show the machine as quickly as possible in videos from now on. It only took about five hours to build and a half hour. There were twelve takes (eleven fails) total, although six of the fails were due to messing up the camera angle. I went through several pieces of tape and began using several Skylanders character cards in the machine. Kinetic Chaos Retro Machine Sirgabealot G 2016-03-22 | I am proud to present a new retro machine! This is based off of Kinetic Chaos's RGM #9! I am extremely proud to say that for the first time since Joel/TheInvention11's retro machine, there are no cuts or parts falling early! It worked in nine takes! Spicing it Up #1 Sirgabealot G 2016-03-17 | It's here! The next entry to the 50 Chain Reaction Ideas collaboration is finally here! I'd say this has my best chain reaction work yet! 50 Ideas 2 has been split into two parts because we realized if we kept the video in one big segment, it would not be uploaded for a very long time and be about twenty minutes long. So we simply decided to split it into two parts. I have only have three out of twelve clips complete for Part 2 and it will not be released until summer or fall. However, it will contain tricks even crazier than the ones in this video. Although, unlike 50 Ideas 1, there is only one transition this time, but there was a lot of collaboration and communication between Carson and I. We have worked on this video for since late October, so please enjoy the copious amount of hard work put into this. On my side, I had approximately 70 fails. The clip that failed the most was my last one in this video before Carson's clips began. Berlagawesome Retro Rube Sirgabealot G 2015-11-21 | Tada. My first retro rube since summer. I have a lot to explain about this one. I do most filming by myself and the way the rube was designed, it was pretty much impossible for me to catch it all. When the ramp fell, the string pulled those balls. Unfortunately, the camera failed to catch that. The second part was when I screwed up the camera when the cup tower fell, so I re recorded it in a better angle. Sirgabealot G Trailer Sirgabealot G 2015-08-02 | I prepared this a while ago, but didn't want to upload it until our CCC entry was uploaded. It proposes four minutes of my best work. CCC Entry w/teddytron2000 Sirgabealot G 2015-08-02 | Well, here it is! You've already seen it, but in case you haven't, check it out. We've been working on this screenlink for months, and now we present to you, a lengthy, ten minute, 50 clip RGM screenlink. Who would've guessed that a spinning disco ball, an Uno card launcher, a fiber device, and a trash can lid could be used in a rube? Different music is because I wasn't able to find the version with the music. While I can't build anything until September 1st, I do plan on putting up a Sirgabealot G Direct (an announcement video) on what I plan to do in the future, including who will receive the next retro rubes, news on Super Rube Machines, screenlink plans, and plans for a 100 subscriber special.
