For the past two years I’ve been enjoying other BookTubers discussing their favorite tropes in literature, so I thought I’d do a series on some of mine, starting with books where a child is sent away to live elsewhere. In part one I’m discussing happy boarding school books! in future installments, I’ll be looking at mysteries set in schools, as well as more ominous tales in gothic settings such as orphanages, workhouses and other settings where someone must solve some sort of problem, overcome adversity or come into their own power.
