Some say hot pot is a Mongolian invention, where many believe it to have originated in Chongqing. Today, we have the Chongqing variant, full of spicy chilis, intense flavors, and a myriad of dipping sauces. From shaved beef and lamb, to tripe and sesame balls, we try it all at this authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant in Los Angeles.
