This 383 stroker was leaking oil like crazy out the rear or the intake manifold and it was weird to see minimal gasket sealer randomly blobbed on both the front and back of the intake to engine block seal. It's no wonder it was leaking! I fixed it up with a nice heavy bead of good quality automotive RTV and that took care of the problem. These crate motors are put together with unknown assemblers so re-torquing is always a good idea. Gaskets are kind of a wild card. I guess you can tear the engine apart and re seal everything to your satisfaction or just hope for the best.
