Some alternatives to premium-priced 35mm film! Head to my related videos or channel home for more reviews, tips and info. A great alternative to Portra is Ultramax. Shoot it 200 for smoother grain and a brighter pastel look. You can even reduce the contrast and saturation a bit in post to get very close to the Portra look! For the Cinestill film alternatives, try Amber, Space Cat, or Reflx Lab, etc. For a cheaper HP5, shoot some Kentmere 400 for a close match. Or, for an arguably identical result to JCH Streetpan, you have Rollei Superpan 200 (JCH is best shot at 200 anyway, and comes out underexposed at 400!)
