Welcome to part 2 in this series where I'm focussing on using enamel paints on a 1/35th scale Bronco Staghound Armoured Car.

In this video, I continue to build and customise the Bronco scale model kit: adding decals, cheap & simple dark shadow weathering washes, enamel painted details and easy to apply mud effects.

Using narration and desk commentary, I walk you through construction and painting - including the use of Model Master enamels and metallizer paints, as well as Humbrol and Tamiya enamels.

You don't have to use expensive off the shelf modelling washes, just use enamels and create your own shadow washes.

For mud effects I used Reality In Scale's Mud-In-A-Pot.

The reference book mentioned is The Staghound: A Visual History Of The T17E Series Amored Cars In Allied Service 1940-1945 by David Doyle and Ampersand Publishing. It's well worth getting.

Other useful products seen include Microscale's Micro Set & Micro Sol.
