In 2022 tribunal order Canada to pay First Nations and Inuit over 40B in compensation
Canada offers 20 B Tribunal says that’s short
Canada offers $47.8 billion child welfare reform package with an Indigenous oversight that can advise the government but we can’t ever have human rights tribunal weigh in on the matter again. Also the money goes to a child welfare agency and local chiefs wouldn’t be able to stop child removal from communities like they can now.
