Bring your rig to life and ship a finished scene.
We record in passes (face, lip-sync, draggers), trim & edit visemes, compute lip-sync from external audio, manage multiple puppets/scenes, add image-sequence effects with Cycle Layers, and export via Adobe Media Encoder.
What you’ll learn
-Record panel refresher: arming behaviors, stacking passes safely
-Trim, move, and organize takes on the timeline
-Viseme editing: fix or replace mouth shapes; when to add silence
-Compute Lip-Sync from Scene Audio (external WAV/MP3)
-Toggle background (hide PSD BG; viewer background colors)
-Add/organize folders (Puppets/Scenes/Audio/Backgrounds) in Project panel
-Work with multiple puppets (duplicate/replace source) & simple staging
-Cycle Layers for PNG sequences (start triggers, directions, loop rules)
-Export: H.264 via Adobe Media Encoder, PNG+WAV sequences, stills, Dynamic Link

About this series
Recorded in 2018 and well-reviewed on Udemy. I’m archiving it here because the fundamentals still help. I add update notes where tools changed and link to a refreshed 2023 version.
