People ask "what did Paul or Jesus think about slavery?" I think we should ask a different question, because that is like asking what we think about there being poor people, middle class, upper class, and billionaires, today. Paul didn't denounce enslavement because he didn't get its effects. He benefitted from it. That will impact what he said, intentionally or flippantly, in relation to it!
