Working on My GNSS Monte Carlo With Ron Hornaday! (Grand National Super Series) Stapleton42 Extra 2025-05-19 | When we did the main channel video with Ron Hornaday at his garage and trophy shed last year, I asked how they mounted the Lajoie seat in Keelan Harvick's street stock that was sitting there. He asked why, so I told him that I was trying to figure out how to mount mine in the GNSS car. He offered to help and stopped by our shop a couple weeks later to decide after 5 minutes "You're on the right track but have no tools here. Lets just bring it to my shop and we can finish the seat and a bunch of this other stuff too"So that is exactly what we did! In addition to learning all of that stuff on the race car, Ron also helped us fix a broken door on our trailer and the exhaust on our Audi.A weeks worth of work later, I had a car that was ready to run after some setup stuff. The assistance from Ron probably saved 4 months of monkeying around chasing parts pieces and asking questions. My First Test Session in Vintage NASCAR Monte Carlo! (Grand National Super Series) Stapleton42 Extra 2024-11-16 | I will be racing this car in Grand National Super Series in 2025. Follow along for a raw look at the build process! This particular chassis was built in 2004 for Bobby Labonte to use in the #19 Joe Gibbs Racing Busch series car. He ran the car in 04-05 then Aric Almirola raced it as a Husqvarna sponsored car in 2006. In 2007 it was passed down to the JGR development program where a 17 year old Joey Logano would win his first NASCAR sanctioned races and championship driving this exact chassis. It served in the Busch East series for a few more years with Jeff Anton before being put in storage for 12 years with a half finished body! Abandoned 1900s Pennsylvania Oil Well: Chrysler Flathead Engine! (Early Days of Oil Survivor) Stapleton42 Extra 2024-03-28 | When visiting home for Christmas we decided to go for a hike into the woods to find this old abandoned oil well I had heard about. It was powered by a modified 1930s car frame with aChrysler flathead 4 cylinder engine bolted to it! This well was supposedly originally drilled in the late 1890s or early 1900s while being periodically updated until the 1940s when it was eventually shut down. On my moms side I have two ancestors who fought in the American Revolutionary War. I have known about this since I was young but never knew much about these guys, where they lived, or where they were buried. One day I decided to figure that out. When the racer I wanted to buy was in Massachusetts it turns out the route goes right past Raubsville Cemetery where they are buried... so I took a detour to see it.

RAW FOOTAGE: Mark Martin Drives His Favorite Car! Legendary Roush Chassis JR51 at Las Vegas Stapleton42 Extra 2022-10-20 | Mark Martin is well known for driving the red white and blue #6 Ford Thunderbird/Taurus NASCAR Winston cup car. In 1998 Mark had a home run year winning several races, many of which were done in the same car called JR-51. Jack Roush chassis 51 was built for the 1998 season and ran until the end of 1999 when it was converted to a 2000 Taurus body for testing. Somehow it ended up under someones lean to in Rockingham NC where it sat abandoned for 20 years. Landon Best here grew up a huge Mark Martin fan and stumbled across this car for sale. Once he was able to validate what it was he quickly got the ball rolling on returning it to its legendary 1998 configuration with painstaking detail. Mark hops in, fires up that Ford C3 engine, and paces the NASCAR Cup series field at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This car also coincidentally won the very first race at this track in 98. Mark has not been on a racetrack in this capacity since he retired. He sits down with us to reflect on his experience after the race and has some profound things to say. 1996 Newell Coach Air Conditioning Fix! (Dometic Mini Split Condenser Fan Motor Retrofit) Stapleton42 Extra 2022-05-20 | Our 1996 Newell coach has three basement mini split air conditioning units from the factory. Made by Dometic back then they're no longer in production today BUT there is a fan motor from Dayton that will work as a perfect replacement with some modifications. By now all three ac units have had the original fan motors go bad and they have all been replaced with this particular one successfully!
