5d mark iii H264 vs RAW test Aneesh Arora 2013-10-27 | This test was done by me before starting a short film shoot for the director. Shot at 2.39:1 because was one Sandisk 60 MB/s cards (which actually gave 60 MB/s write speed!). This was a rental camera. The H264 is ALL-I at 1080p. Raw was shot at 1852 instead of 1920 because of slow card and upscaled in After Effects. RAW file converted to cinema DNG sequence using RAW Magic for Mac and then imported to After Effects and taken through ACR. H.264 footage was shot prolost flat and graded using three way CC in FCP. Final video compiled in FCP.
