Dirty_Alex_ I'm so surprised this song has not already been mapped considering how much it blew up. This one has been on my list to map for a while and when I heard that Timeweaver was also planning to map the song, we decided to collab on it! Time did an expert+ diff and the V3 lights, whereas I did my own ex+ diff and all of the lowers.

Ray absolutely killed it with this song and it 100% deserves the recognition it got! I'm so happy to see one of my favourite artists thriving more than ever and I cannot wait to see which banger he brings out next!

Arcade Dwellers has been a song I've been thinking about mapping for a while, ever since I first started taking notice of MDK's music, so I'm so glad Avexus reached out to me to do a collab on it! BanditByTheStreet also helped Vex make the awesome lightshow!

I also made a hard diff, where Vex made an expert+, expert and normal diff, giving this a (sort of) full spread!

Dirty_Alex_ 2024-04-15 | This map is dedicated to my grandad who passed away on 11th December 2023. Although he would have hated this song, I started mapping this around the time he first went into hospital and its a pretty emotional song. Today (15th April) is his birthday, so thought there was no better time to release this map.

I have never put this much effort into a map before. From making an entire full spread to a 30k event chroma lightshow, I have poured my heart into this map and I hope that it shows.

Dirty_Alex_ 2023-11-08 | And another Rexxz collab gets added to the list! This is my first time dipping my toes into the world of Chroma with the fancy ring lights. I may start lighting my maps like this going forward as it was quite refreshing having another layer of detail.

You can never go wrong with metalstep! Though I feel the metal in this is a lot better than the step part. This song is still pretty great nonetheless and was very fun to map and light!

Dirty_Alex_ 2023-08-24 | This map took way longer for me to finish than it should have. I have been on-and-off mapping this for like 2-3 months now and it is finally finished!

This map is more on the chill side (for the most part) and the song itself is a melodic jammer. Dabin never disappoints with his chill melodic drops and Kai Wachi knocked his part out of the park. The vocals by Lø Spirit really match the vibe of the song and makes it that much better!

Dirty_Alex_ 2023-01-29 | RIOT with another banger! This song is a little different than what I would usually map but the vocals were so catchy and the drop was just so good that I just had to map it!

This is a pretty intense map so I decided to make 2 lowers covering a relatively wide skill range. This map makes use of arcs, chains and sliders so make sure your Beat Saber is somewhat up to date before playing!

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-12-03 | It's been a while since I mapped a Teminite track, so when Avexus asked me to collab on one of his re-maps, I couldn't say no! This song is for sure a banger and works so well in Beat Saber!

Both me and Avexus mapped 2 diff each, mine contain arcs and chains, whereas his are more on the techier side. There are 2 expert+ diffs, an expert and a hard diff, each with our name son so you know who did what. I also did the vanilla lightshow.

Beat Saber Custom Song | Disappearing Now (ft. Chandler Leighton) - Nurko | Expert+ (Zyxi Collab)

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-11-30 | This has got to be the most effort I have ever put into a map. This was requested by Taranchola, and after hearing how much this song meant to her, I knew I had to go above and beyond. That's when I decided that I want someone else to make the lights, as I knew I would struggle with them. Taran managed to get the legendary Zyxi on board, and together, I feel we have made something truly special.

For this, I have mapped 4 difficulties (Normal to Expert+). Zyxi provided a beautiful environment and did the incredible Chroma lighting. This song also really fits the use of arcs, so I have made lawless difficulties that include arcs and have vanilla lighting while still using the same enhanced environment.

I have always wanted to map a Nurko song, but a lot of his songs just wouldn't fit my style very well, but this one is definitely an exception. Chandler Leighton's angelic voice also really adds to the song and adds so much emotion. Nurko is one of my favourite melodic bass artists, so I am so glad to finally be able to map one of his songs.

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-10-12 | This is my 69th map... Nice.

This song is the perfect example of what melodic dubstep should be. It has a perfect mix of heavy and melodic sounds which makes for an absolute jammer!

This is a relatively comfy map, with a couple difficulty spikes but nothing too hard. It has many arcs and sliders as is tradition. I planned on making downmaps for this, but after having to time the second drop, it was most definitely NOT worth it. It was such a pain lmao.

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-06-16 | Got another rap x dubstep banger for ya! I first found this song when I started getting into the heavier side of EDM a couple years back. Bossfight has made so many bangers and absolutely nailed this one. I'm not normally a big fan of rap, but Virus Syndicate knocks it out the park every time on these dubstep tracks. Such a good song!

The map contains two difficulties, one with arcs and one without, so you don't need to be on 1.20 to play this. No chains this time as I'm not a big fan of them at the moment.

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-05-22 | This is my first map using arcs and chains! There are a few issues with it, like some chains stacking but since there's no error checkers in the new official mapper, it was too much of a pain to fix them. The map was also showing as completely empty at one point, so I could not make any more changes to it, but it is still completely playable so it's not that big of a deal.

For those who do not like the new note types, there is a Lawless difficulty which is just the exact same map but with regular sliders.

Love this mix of dubstep and psytrance! This is a song AllieCat sent me a while back, but only just got to mapping it now. This was an incredibly fun one to light and I think this might be one of my best lightshows yet!

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-05-04 | Another collab map! This time with a new mapper called Soundwave39. This is Soundwave's 6th ever map and he absolutely killed it! Dirty_Alex_ 2022-04-23 | Mapped my first MitiS song! I've been listening to him for a good while now, so it's about time I made a map of him, especially with the love he has received in the Beat Saber community recently. Both Crystal Skies and MitiS killed it with this one. Just a solid melodic track with amazing vocals from Linney.

I've decided that I want to make more downmaps for my maps, even for song that probably don't need them such as this one. My maps have been getting harder and harder, so I want to be fair to the lower skilled players or people just looking for a chill map to play. This map has 2 downmaps and I think I did a decent job on both. But I also got a bit lazy with the lighting so don't expect much in that regard.

This map is a little more intense than our previous collabs. It has lots of sliders, lots of windows, lots of walls and an intense lightshow.

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-03-30 | 3 years ago today, I uploaded my very first map to BeatSaver. It was easily the worst map I have ever made. I had no idea what flow and parity was, I couldn't time notes to save my life, I had no idea what vision blocks were and I just blatantly left resets all over the place. It was a mess. So I deceided to re-map it to celebrate 3 years of mapping!

I have not mapped anything but wubs for almost the past 3 years, so I felt very out of element returning to this song, i.e. there are little to no sliders in this map. I have also included the original version of the map in the expert difficulty. DO NOT play that diff expecting a good time, it is simply there for comparison. I also got pretty lazy with the lightshow for this. Mapping a different genre was difficult enough, but lighting for one was even harder.

Even though this map is pretty different from me, I really hope you all enjoy it!

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-03-24 | This is one of my favourite songs of the year so far. NGHTMRE and Ray Volpe smashed it with this one! Ray's heavy drop is so god damn good!

So I had to map an expert difficulty for this since I can't even pass the expert plus. The Ex+ diff has many sliders, 1/4 beat jumps and 1/8 beat bursts. The ex diff has slightly simpler patterns, a few less sliders and does not have any jumps or bursts.

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-02-18 | Mapped another melodic jammer! The first drop mixed with RUNN's angelic vocals makes for a beautiful first half of the song, followed by Riot's heavier drop which you can't help but head-bang to.

This is definitely a more comfy map compared to my most recent maps. I decided to use the Billie environment for this one as I feel it perfectly matches the beauty of the song... But mainly because it has a waterfall in it lmao.

Dirty_Alex_ 2022-02-05 | So my SSD died last week and so a bunch of my settings got reset. Tried fixing them all but there a few I missed, hence the cursor being on screen. Might need to increase the camera FOV a little bit as well. Will hopefully have all of this sorted for the next vid.

The second I heard this song in October, I knew I needed to map it. Both drops hit you so hard and you really get a sinister vibe between them. I definitely need to be on the look out for future NGTMRE songs.

This was a very fun one to map! This map is relatively challenging, but not as hard as some of the maps I have done recently. It does get a bit harder on the final drop though. This one was also very fun to light!

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-12-30 | Another fun collab with Rexxz! Big thanks to him for wanting to collab again, is always very fun!

This song is such a banger, Kill The Noise killed it (pun intended). MOELLE's angelic voice also fits the track very well. Definitely a fun song to collab on!

The map has a good mix of comfy and more intense mapping, and reflects both of our mapping styles pretty well. We decided to take a similar approach to our last collab where we would have multiple alternating sections each instead of just doing half and half. Though it takes much longer to finish the map, I think this is probably my favourite way to collab as it feels much more of a collaborative effort. Though I still love doing the half and half collabs as well.

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-12-14 | So this song goes hard as fuck... Metalstep will always be one of my favourite genres of EDM, metal and dubstep just go so well together, and this is probably the best metalstep song I have ever heard.

So the expert+ difficulty is the hardest map I have ever made (as you can see from me failing it in the video). There is also an easier expert+ which is about the same difficulty you would come to expect from one of my maps, I mainly did this for my own sake lmao. Bytrius did the lighting and also helped out with the bursts and bomb resets, so massive thank you to them! The lights look incredible!

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-12-01 | Another Teminite map! I've been wanting to map this song for a while now and finally got around to doing it. I love how catchy the melody is for this song, and I LOVE the transition into the heavy drop. I don't know why, but I just love it when a song switches gears and lets you know right before the drop hits.

I am really proud of this map. Think I came up with some pretty fun patterns and the sliders are very satisfying to hit. I put A LOT more effort into the lighting this time round. It's the first time I have used a different environment from the default, and the first time I have used the boost event. PLEASE play this map with the lights on and set the environment to the Billie environment (the lights probably look terrible on any other environment), I would really appreciate it if you would experience the whole thing!

Beat Saber Custom Song | New Beginning (feat. Gallie Fisher) - KEPIK | Expert+

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-11-01 | This song has got to have the best melodic drop I have heard since Sleepless. The little dubstep growls mixed in with the heavy hitting melodic bass is beautiful, we need more songs like this. The drum n' bass drop is also fantastic.

This map is pretty chill for the most part, but picks up a bit on the second drop in terms of difficulty. It's got everything you would probably expect from a Dirty Alex map: calm flowy parts, jumps, streams, and of course, sliders.

I have made a couple of very minor changes to the map since recording this video, but the changes are nothing really noticeable, I just fixed a couple of shit-missy parts.

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-10-04 | Haven't got too much to say about this map really. I've had it mapped for a couple of months now but never released it since it isn't quite up to the standard of my other maps, but I really wanted to get a map out this week so here we are.

I loved this song when it first came out, but I've heard it so much now that I didn't have much passion when mapping this, hence why the map isn't great.

Beat Saber Custom Song | Mutant (ft. Prey For Me) - Evilwave & Teminite | Expert+

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-09-28 | So this song has been in my playlist for a little bit, but I listened to it again while on holiday and I couldn't stop listening to it. I knew that I just had to map this absolute banger! That Teminite synth in the first drop still gives me goosebumps!

I really enjoyed mapping this one. I feel like I captured just how heavy this song is. Once again, there are a lot of sliders, but that's to be expected at this point. Bit there also some one handed jumps, which I haven't really done before, mainly because I suck at them, but I managed to get through these ones!

Beat Saber Custom Song | Better Off Alone (ft. RUNN) - Kai Wachi | Expert+

Dirty_Alex_ 2021-09-15 | This song is absolutely insane! The second drop on this goes so fucking hard and RUNN's angelic voice is amazing as always. The way Kai mashed the vocals with the drop is so cool.

I love this song, but oh boy was it a pain to map. The second drop was so hard to time, and the timing still isn't perfect now. But other than that, this was a fun one to map.
