Castlevania II on the Game Boy was the first classic in the long line of portable Castlevania games (after the problematic Castlevania: The Adventure, one of GB's launch titles in 1989).
Yes, this template might look weird, but... for me part of the game boy nostalgia is the "puke green" dot matrix display with the obligatory scratches after being carried in the pocket/school bag countless times. I think these classics lose something when seen in their native resolution, in black & white.
Any constructive criticism on how this custom template can be improved for a more pleasing/convincing effect, are more than welcome :)
