In this last episode we looked at the two Casio VX-4 Pokécons we got from Japan and managed to fix unit #1. Unit #2 had some severe battery corrosion damage on the keyboard PCB. Initially it was not clear if Unit #2 could be repaired but the day after finishing the first video I awoke with the burning desire to give it a go.
In this episode we do our best to repair all the battery leak corrosion on the keyboard PCB using the Pace Cir-Kit repair kit. We also replace a corroded away battery contact spring and take care of a few other minor niggles on VX-4 #2. Will we get it working? Join us and find out.
