Thanks to TKFRvision recent tool for Cars 2, we can now finally extract the .OCT files & repack it back which we no longer have to rely on Texmod which feels relief honestly, anyway, I looked back at my old video about ""improving"" the texture for McQueen and uhh... Jesus it looks so terrible that I'm wondering to myself as to: "how did I considered this to be good?" which yeah that was the best I could do back then but, god. The worst part that killed me the most was the window I made, the headlights and upscaling it, bruh. So I extracted McQueen's texture from the console (more like Arcade version) put the texture there and modified the UV a bit to get other parts to appear and it looks so much better than how I did it before. Now I no longer have to look back at it to see other people using it cause I feel bad for them.
