PhysicalTherapy101.net - This video demonstrates the proper fitting of a brace for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. During Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, the Median Nerve is trapped in an area of the wrist known as the Carpal Tunnel. This entrapment of the nerve results in pressure on the Median Nerve and results in wrist pain. Wearing a brace can help relieve and prevent the pressure on this nerve. Symptoms include wrist pain, numbness, and tingling.
