But do you know the caribou who sang in her own special way?
Carol the caribou loved Christmas
You’d find her singing jingle bells in june
There was just one hitch, she couldn’t find the pitch

Instead of “Do Re Mi “she sang “Mi Do Re”
That’s not right, is it?
Carol had memorized the lyrics
to all her favorite classic Christmas songs
She knew every rhyme, she sang perfectly in time
But Carol got the melodies all wrong
She sang “Deck The Halls with bows of holly fa la la la la la la la la”
Instead of “Do Re Mi,” she sang “Re Mi Fa”
All the other caribou said “Carol, you sound strange!
If you want to sing with us you’ve simply got to change!”
She thought “Time to practice if I’m gonna get it right!”
For weeks did her scales and warm ups by the candlelight
Until “o holy night” became “o holy night!”
Right!
Carol the caribou had done it
She’d learned her do re mis and la ti dos
Finally she could blend when she sang with her friends
She knew where every note was meant to go
She sang “Jingle Bells Jingle Bells Jingle all the way
Deck The Halls with bows of holly fa la la la la la la la la”
All the notes were perfect but the magic wasn’t there,
The same old songs felt boring without Carol’s special flair!
The caribous said “Carol we miss how you sang before!
Won’t you sing your crazy funky melodies once more?”
Are you sure? Yes!
“Jingle Bells Jingle All The Way
Deck the halls with bough of holly
Fa la la la la la la la la la
O Holy Night, o Holy Night!”
Carol had wowed them with her singing (wow-wow-wow-wow-wow),
her style and a confidence brand new!
Why sing the same old lines, when you can be one of a kind?
She made the songs her own and so can you,
