Carter Burwell’s intimate, Academy Award-nominated score for Todd Haynes’ 2015 romantic drama Carol is making its 12” vinyl debut.

For Haynes’ 1950s-set drama, Burwell composed an intimate, jazz-influenced chamber score that captures the quiet longing at the heart of the film and also includes music from Billie Holiday, The Clovers, Les Paul & Mary Ford and more. Starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, Carol follows a forbidden affair between an aspiring photographer and a woman navigating a divorce.
