The AEC industry has been talking about Digital Twins for 20 years, but now manufacturing and other industries have adopted the concept and technology as well. Creating and maintaining a digital twin can be difficult, but one way of capturing 3D data and creating 3D models that are used in digital twins is with reality capture technologies.
