In the fifth video we’ve implement software RC oscillators, with underwhelming results, because either our GPIO pin Schmitt-trigger was lacking or the sampling rate of the ADC was too low (link below). So let’s try something else.
We start by reviewing the problems our oscillators had and revisit the RC circuit charging approach. After writing a sketch implementing this approach, we’re off to do some measuring. Finally we talk about changing relative permittivity and noise.
