The Main Turret in a Trimmer

The trimmer removes the top edge of cans as they transition from infeed to discharge. Here's how it works:

✅ Loading: Each can enters a starwheel pocket, where a vacuum chuck secures it in place.
✅ Cutting: The can moves forward as the trim knives close and rotate, shearing off the top edge.
✅ Trim Removal: The trim ring is pulled away and sent down the scrap chute.
✅ Discharge: The trimmed can is released and moves to the next stage.
