We spent significant time researching this lineup, and a few of the items genuinely surprised us along the way. From major luxury brand debuts to long-awaited transformations, these openings are set to reshape Cancún’s all-inclusive scene as we move into 2026.
We start at number six with the Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort, scheduled to open in early 2026 in Puerto Cancun. At number five is Riu Ventura Cancun, which opened its doors in December 2025 and is already making waves as a strong new family-friendly option.
At number four, we take another look at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, an adults-only, all-inclusive resort opening in December 2025 that’s quickly becoming one of the most anticipated resorts in the region. Number three is W Costa Mujeres, opening in 2026 and marking the brand’s first ever all-inclusive property.
At number two, we cover the complete transformation of Club Med Cancun, one of the area’s originals, which is set to relaunch in 2026 following a major multi-phase redevelopment.
