And if you think this is just a toy for kids and recreational fishermen, remember this: Once upon a time it was thought that fishing from ANY kayak was a bit of a joke. I remember though, showing up one year to the largest fishing trade show in the world (iCast) and seeing giant posters hanging outside showing people fishing from... KAYAKS! I was SO proud! The world had come to realize that this sport was no joke. Now, some years later, the inflatable world of fishable kayaks is coming into maturity. Drop stitch tech is allowing companies to build boats that are as rigid as you can dream of, while still having the ability to deflate and fold away to be stored by folks that might not have room for a hard-shell kayak. And the Wilderness iATAK is proving that not only is the idea achievable, but can be done VERY well. You may not realize it now, but inflatables are here to stay.
