Super Louis 64 takes on the impossible Halo 3 challenge of beating Legendary on a guitar hero controller! World Record and Halo first. Can you beat Halo 3 with a Guitar Hero Controller?

Halo 3’s Legendary is known for being very tough and most people haven’t even beaten it with a regular controller. Now imagine playing an FPS with a guitar hero controller which doesn’t even have joysticks. Combine the two and you have one of the hardest runs I’ve ever completed. Only one person has ever beaten Halo with guitar and that was Handles28 Although he beat it on Easy, I guarantee it was no easy feat. Mad props to Handles 28. Before we go into the run, let’s go over some quick rules. For this challenge run, let’s lay out some rules. The difficulty must be set to Halo 3. You can only play Solo, No co-op.
No skulls can be turned on. And of course, you must use a Guitar Hero Controller. Very simple rules, but honest none the less. If you are wondering how I got my guitar to work on my Xbox , it’s actually not too hard!
On the screen you can how I connect it to my xbox. All I used was an input converter and change some buttons to match the game. Here is my button layout. If you notice, I cannot aim and move at the same time. Since the Guitar doesn’t have a joystick, it’s not possible to move and aim. Most of the challenge comes from this problem. But weird controller problems hasn’t stopped us before. One last thing before we start the video, I want to talk about the legitimacy of the run. Challenge runs like this are really really easy to fake. People can fake runs by only uploading just the edited version of their runs on youtube and without the original footage, you can’t tell if they cheated or not.
The goal of channel is to be as transparent as possible so to stay true to the goal, I have uploaded the whole run on a second channel. All 12 hours straight from the twitch/mixer stream uploaded with no edits! The link will be in the description below. Now with all of that out of my system, let’s see if we can actually beat Halo 3 on Legendary with a guitar hero controller!
